Rogers is one of several industry CEOs calling for regulations that put a price on polluting carbon dioxide and Duke Energy is a member of U.S. CAP (United States Climate Action Partnership), a consortium of large corporations trying to influence policy.

Does bring speculation USCAP is merely a bunch of companies that want to shape/cripple greenhouse legislation so that it come out to their particular benefit.
Rather than actually coming up with an effective bill.

As for notable-quotables, I liked this one.
Rogers heads a company that generates 90 percent of its electricity from burning coal or nuclear power. So it's not surprising that he says that "coal is not a four-letter word!"

i have watched various debates with rogers in it. He gets his head handed to him in one case by another ceo in the industry.
i have been around quite a few ceos, i truly find it hard to believe that he is effective.
