Neve gonna get it

Neve Campbell’s eco-flick won’t air in the U.S. 3

Neve Campbell
Neve Campbell.
Burn Up is the (totally and completely fictional) story about a clash between Big Oil and Big Green. The Canadian/British miniseries features Party of Five star Neve Campbell as an environmentalist hired to work for an oil company (as a greenwash decoy, of course, though she doesn't realize it until too late ... mwahahaha).

Unfortunately for us Yanks, though, Burn Up will not be airing stateside. (At least not yet.) But if you're one of our lucky readers in Canada or the U.K., catch it Tuesday and Wednesday on Global or BBC, respectively.

greenwash specialist LOLFunny, I had heard Nev will be in Nova Scotia filming a new flick where she encounters an evil sealing captain, announced during the mayhem following the sinking of a sealing ship while under tow by a Coast Guard vessel, loss of three men, and comments from Paul Watson (Sea Shepard Society), and eventual seizure of the "Farley Mowatt" anti-sealing vessel by the Canadian Coast Guard. Sounds like she is already knee deep in the greenwash. Oh, and for the anti-sealing advocates, please make sure you completely understand both sides of the issue before jumping on that band wagon. There is much more to the story than initially apparent.
