I forgot to mention that I'm the "spotlight blogger" for the week over at NewsCloud, a new(ish) open-source, collaborative news aggregation and discussion site. It's a cool site -- check it out.

Perhaps Jeff, the founder and brains behind the project, will stop by to say more about its many features and capabilities.

    Check out NewsCloudHi folks, thanks for the plug Dave. NewsCloud is a social network for news, like Digg, but with more of an emphasis on building networks of bloggers and journalists. For example, getting bloggers like Dave to participate at NewsCloud links our communities ... and any blogger can build their audience at our site.
    We're also open source - which means that the source code behind our site is freely available and can be used to launch new grassroots media sites. For this, we were featured in MAKE yesterday.
    So, visit NewsCloud or check out our Wiki to learn more about our platform.

    If there is a hell, Imhofe belongs there.
