Me in The Nation 2

At the beginning of the year, progressive magazine The Nation started a new guest blog on its website: Passing Through, which "will feature postings by some of the blogosphere's most well-read and incisive political writers."

The mag is hosting one guest blogger per month. January's was the redoubtable Jessica Valenti of Feministing.

This month, the magazine has taken a quantum leap down the attractiveness scale and chosen yours truly their guest.

My first post is up, kind of an introductory, navel-gazing sort of thing. I expect lots of the stuff I'll write over there will feel introductory to regular readers here, but I'll link to it anyway. You might as well go ahead and subscribe to the RSS feed.

Big thanks to The Nation for the opportunity. It's an honor.

Kudos!A larger audience certainly can't hurt. Also it could be a nice introspective exercise to open up to a new audience.

Looking goodThe picture of Dave is really good; and as a regular reader of the Davester, it was really interesting to read other comments.  There are a lot of people out there with a lot of time on their hands.
