And by the way, David, you are up past your bed time. Jim Webb declared victory in Virginia, where he was running for Senate, not in Missouri, where he was not.
Or is it that you get the states east of the Rockies a bit confused? : )
Webb's declaration of victory probably twisted the pundits' underwear a bit. "The counting will not be done for a few days!" As you say, it was bold, and probably smart. He had the higher number on his side, and that counts for a great deal, morally.

Which suggest both Talent and Webb will be eventually declared the winners.
