Huffington Post
If you regular readers are wondering why my tone is slightly more formal (stiff?) than usual in this post, it's because I'm cross-posting to The Huffington Post, where readers are not as familiar with my many charms or as forgiving of my many rhetorical peccadilloes.

Inhofe's belief has its limits
Inhofe apparently isn't confident enough in denying global warming that he'll bet me over it, even when the bet winnings go to charity. I contacted his office in August, and never heard back. More info here:

Inhofe admits he's losing
In an interview with the newspaper Tulsa World on July 22 of this year (no longer available on-line) Inhofe conceded that "the other side" is winning the debate. "The other side" includes the likes of Scientific American, who declared this month that "the debate on global warming is over" (http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?articleID=000EABE4-BDFF-...).
Let's see: the Senator from Big Oil, or Scientific American? Who is more trustworthy? Let me think...

Dave,
"Because scientists, unlike senators, cannot find all the information they need in their own rear ends..."
You've never read my thesis, have you?

climate change is a myth
There is no proof any detrimental climate changes are iminent. Liberal wackos just love to be inflamatory and wind up the hoards of long-haired, hemp-weaving hippies whose only ambition is to protest whatever cause is popular at the moment.

Wacknuts!
It is a shame that the minimal scientific evidence that global temperatures may have risen in recent years is taken as proof that humans have caused it leads to such strident comments. Anyone who disagrees is lying for some demonic reason. I guess that is part and parcel of the leftist shtick. Demonize anyone who disagrees.
Amazing- The presumption of the ignorant!
You do know that the sensationalist points made by Mr. Gore were found sufficiently lacking by a British court such that his film can not be shown with out notation to that effect.

Gingrich says - "We just don't know!"
WOW! I apprehensively expected support at the link. However, Gingrich says: "We don't know even if the globe is warming, let alone if humans are causing it." to paraphrase. "Remember global cooling was the fear just a few decades ago."
Why must environmentalists demonize anyone who expresses a different view?
