Inconvenient headlines 4

Tom Athanasiou (exec. director of EcoEquity) reminds us of two things. The first is that domestic programs for emission reductions just aren't going to cut it. We have to find some equitable way to draw China and India into the fold.

The second is something I've been meaning to propose:

Let's all of us pull together as a nation and agree on the following: a total ban, beginning now and extending indefinitely, on headlines including any variant of "inconvenient," "truth," or combinations thereof. The expiration date has passed, friends. Let's let it go.

Forgive him his sin ...for he hath written one of the best books around, "The Ecology of Rich and Poor."  Not the best writer in history but a damn important thinker.

I'd move to include the phrase..."tipping point" in this ban.

Oscar Wilde would have been proud...... to resist such temptation:
BBC 2 Newsnight - AL GORE
'We have an exclusive interview tonight with Al Gore - he'll be discussing the controversy around his film "An Inconvenient Truth" and we'll be asking him about his own carbon footprint.'
