Like the headline says. Wonder where he comes down on those coal plants.

"don't know much about history ..."Huckabee has made some astoundingly deplorable statements in the past, but nevertheless his political talents and charm are impressive.  This is brilliant:
    <<

In a speech to conservative activists in Washington Saturday morning, he said "I didn't major in math," he said at the Conservative Political Action Conference meeting. "I majored in miracles, and I still believe in them."

    >>
Since a number of pundits, e.g. Chris Cillizza, are seriously thinking that McCain will call on Huckabee to be his running mate, we have to wonder what that might mean.  Given McCain's age, medical history and volcanic temperament, his running mate's suitability is likely to be scrutinized with special care.  So, how would it play out in the general election, if Huckabee is in the VP slot, and many voters come to realize that he may not at all unforeseeably have to step in to replace an out-of-commission President McCain?

McCain/HuckabeeIt's a Barack/Edwards beating combo.  Huckabee will bring the evangelicals back, bringing them close, then swiftboating/voting fraud will get them the southern states plus corruption enabled states like Ohio.
That's the formula I'm seeing.  Another '88.  We thought anyone could beat daddy bush, CIA torture chief of central america and incompetent raygun kiss ass wimp.  As hunter Thompson said, "The most corrupt president in history".
2008, the youth (issues, who cares?), rock star change wave.  Backed up by the return of the Naderite's (BJ hating/clinton hating) revenge.   And the democratic party beats itself again?!?
    Hope I'm wrong somehow.
