Hillary maneuvering against Gore? 1

Of course you can't read it because it's behind the NYT $ wall, but Maureen Dowd speculates that Hillary's big speech today on energy and the environment was a bid to divert some of the spotlight that's been cast on Gore lately.

Maybe, maybe not. But if presidential candidates start competing to show who can be most bold on the energy issue, we will all benefit.

    Hillar manuvering against GoreI think is the better choice right now.  He is strong on his convictions and thats what the democratic party needs right now.  The democratic party can no longer be wishy washy and expect to bring this tyranny to an end.  Hillary would be a good vice-president.  She needs times to mature and grow and become more confident.  She is trying to be to moderate and losing both sides.  Moderation in all things, but what are the the things she stands for.
