Greenzones.org 3

Good lord, it looks like a whooole lotta money went into this. The "about" page goes to an error, as does the "investors" page and the "press" page. Anybody know anything about it?

(There's probably a press release about it somewhere in my inbox, but I get about 50 a day and can't really keep up with all of them.)

All green information in one centralized locationThe goal, apparently, is to "bring all green information into one centralized location." (Christopher Adjani)
Also, "With a new movie coming out in 2005 and prominent successful acting career, along with her best friend Christopher Adjani, Leslie Bega is helping to build the largest Green organization in the world - and the future has never been so clear." (Leslie Bega)
    Here's a press release apparently from 2004.
Well, good luck to them.  So far the ratio of substance to style seems rather low.  It always makes me nervous to see publications starting out with a huge splash... having been around several wonderful magazine ideas that didn't last for more than 4 issues.

I see green everywhereWith the launch of green.tv it's really true that "green is the new black"...

"There are no passengers on spaceship earth. We are all crew."

The G Living Network and The GreenZones FoundationFirst, I just want to say, I am a big Tree Hugger fan and have been coming to this site for a long time.  And yes, I know the  G Living site is not complete. I am sorry about that. Until just recently the site was mostly a one man show (Me), working 36 hour shifts and then sleeping 12 hours.  With help here and there from amazing people like my wife, a few friends, and the amazing people here in the offices of Sander Architects and Culver Design.  The Architects have been kind enough to donate office space to us, which enabled us to work closely with the architects on a few Green Building Projects.  Plus film a new show about building Contemporary Green Homes.
Also, just so you  know, we are building this site with Zero dollars.  This has all been self funded.
But now things are starting to change rapidly. Traffic has been doubling, page views are hitting the 700 thousand range and now staff.  As of this January, a growing network of volunteers has started to form an amazing staff of production people, bloggers, architects, designers, green athletes, and chefs.  So, now in the very near future, The G Living Network, will really become the Network we envisioned from  the beginning.  A dynamic easy to use site will emerge, plus daily and weekly shows.
Also, The GreenZones Foundation, will really start functioning as the Non Profit Foundation it is meant to be.  So please stay tuned as the site and features start to really come alive.
I  really just feel lucky to be able to devote so much time to bringing Green Living to the world.  Thank you to everyone for visiting the sites. We believe Green Knowledge must be free. Free to improve all of our lives and to protect this Earth we all share
     Christopher
One more thing. Here are a few of the sections I think are really great inside G Living.

    Lil Sprout

Don't be fooled by the name.
This blog has very little to do with sprouts. This blog is about my journey towards a greener life. This blog is about me. I'm short, but sprouting. I'm still green to the green world, but I'm allowing myself to grow into a healthier more knowledgeable person. So, don't be disappointed if you don't read a single thing on here about actual sprouts. Because, honestly, I hate sprouts. But I love pop culture references. Hence the name "Lil Sprout"
    Plus GreenChefs
