Green sex toy sound bites

Not as dirty as it sounds 9

I've had the pleasure of covering all sorts of environmental matters, and interviewing fellow enviro-writers, in the past few years, often for Grist. But so far no piece has reverberated quite like Naughty by Nature: Ever thought about the toxins in your sex toys? Not that I'm complaining; my reputation as the author of this article consistently precedes me into various NYC green gatherings, leading to all manner of astonishingly frank conversation with casual acquaintances or total strangers. And when asked at dinner parties to explain what I do as an environmental journalist, it sure beats the melting Arctic or the destruction of the Everglades for upbeat chat.

Happily for the sexual health of every American, interest in this topic just won't quit. To wit: I have a couple soundbites in this inaugural installment of TreeHugger Radio, a partnership between our pals at TH and EcoTalk Radio.     all fours for eco-friendly sex toysSometimes we forget we should pick and choose when our sexual health is concerned. I agree that eco-friendly sex toys are not a mere whim that's why we should bring up environmental issues!

    Thanks from Earth EroticsYou were definately ahead of the game with that article - 2005.  Environment Report is now working on this issue and it should air in the next few weeks.  It will be probably be streaming on http://www.glrc.org.

    privat life energy-saving technologiesIt's not a secret anymore that energy-saving technologies represent one of the best methods of fighting global warming.  Curiously enough, such technologies are popular in all spheres of life and the sexual is not an exception. I was really amazed by discovering eco-friendly sex toys and it's great that even such private part of our life can be friendly not only with us, but with the environment as well.

    Sex toys - keep 'em greenGreat job Emily. I've been following your posts on Apartment Ecology and as always your articles are great and right on point. As an adult toys user, I can't stress enough the importance of having your toys Eco-friendly and phthalate free. I have been lately getting my green sex toys from Vibrator.com and they have an entire section of green sex toys.
