Gore just appeared on stage with Leo DiCaprio. They discussed how the ceremony has gone green, and how everyone has a role to play in fighting climate change. DiCaprio kept asking him if there's anything he wanted to announce.

Finally, toward the end, Gore said he "hadn't planned on doing this," but the feelings of the moment had inspired him, and he wanted to use this moment to announce to the American people ...

And then the music swelled, cutting him off.

Hilarious. Perfect.

    Al in good time.He is so going to run. But, he is smart to wait. Enjoy all the free, positive publicity while it lasts.  From a purely political standpoint, it would be a shame to waste all that.  
    Heck, he won the popular vote last time, and he is seen as more affable now. Onward and upward. Damn the GoreAphobics.

    Hillary/ObamaGore should be at the top of the ticket, let Hillary and Obama battle for VP.
    Gore could stand up to corporate power in the Teddy Roosevelt mode.   The other two? Not so much.
    Does Gore understand the issues around fuel farming/flex fuel versus plugin vehicles?  Not much doubt there.  Or what he would do about supporting plugins.
    Hillary or Obama?  They understand them, but will always put farm state votes and agribizz dollars first.
