Weakened energy bill passes 1

The bill passes 86 to 8. Again, I will post the full Roll Call when it's posted on the Senate website shortly.

    Pass this billI've done some work with the Auto Alliance, and I think this is a solid compromise bill.  It raises CAFE standards but also keeps cars and trucks in different categories.  It's good to see this Congress doing passing good bills.  Hopefully W won't veto it.
