"The idea of global-warming tourism is full of ironies," he said. "If enough people expend enough fossil fuels to visit one Warming Island, they will ensure that there will be many more."

Let’s live on the planet as if we intend to stay.

    It's all a matter of methodologyPut them in row boats and send them on their way to the great warming islands and not only won't they add to greenhouse gas emissions, but many of them won't make it back, thus doing something constructive about population growth that is making all environmental problems so acute.  I think that is more or less what Erik the Red had in mind when he named an icy island Greenland in the first place.  ;-)
