   Hybrids are 'better,' not 'good'I would put 'car' on the 'bad travel' side. Even if it is a plug-in hybrid powered by your very own solar panels, it's a lot of hardware that needs to be build and scrapped in order to move a few hundred pounds of human around.

   Is everything turning greenIt seems as if everything is turning green nowadays. And people just can't understand why consumers aren't buying more of it. Not rocket science - really. People buy for many reasons - not just the environmental impact. You think you can sell a "green" blow-up doll? Maybe look at functionality, price, quality etc first before turning everything green.    earth friendly investingI would also add investing in green companies.  My mother in law asked my husband and I what she could do to live more greenly without changing her somewhat lavish lifestyle.  I suggested she take her stock out of Walmart for starters!  Investing in green companies is a simply way of showing that you care about our world.
