   WORLD CARFREE DAY!I love how the idiot reporter states:
   
   It did not say why the Ministry of Construction, the sponsor of the activity, chose a Saturday to hold the event.
   
   If there was any research done at all then reporter would have known that September 22nd is World Carfree Day!
   Go car free in solidarity!

   Green will never workHere's why Green will never work.
   I bought some "enviro-bags" thinking they were made of super new bio-degradable stuff.   They weren't -- but they would donate some of the profit to an environmental group.
   Those bags sucked.   They were hard to tear off the roll.   The drawstrings tore the hem.  They broke right through.
   Enter the pros: Glad ForceFlex.
   I don't know how many polyesters they killed to make these bags -- and don't care...because these bags are the shit!   I mean, they tear like feathers from the roll.   And they "flex" or expand to the garbage, all the while being strong.
   And drawstrings?   They are like so 2005!   These bags have four big flaps that you can tie together.
   The Bauhaus School couldn't have designed a more elegant tall kitchen trash bag if they stayed up for weeks feasting on espresso and strudel.
   Ya' see.   There are people in this world who know that to do something right, you have to do it with gusto.   "Green" is like a big giant chain hanging around an artists neck, dragging him down, saying "no, can't do this...can't do that".

   SaturdaysUmmm... because if it were a weekday there wouldn't be enough buses, unless they put a bunch of other buses into service, which would cost money, and who wants to spend money to help people discover how they can help clean up the environment? Just a thought...
