Q) What is "Cheat Offsetting"?

When you cheat on your partner you add to the heartbreak, pain and jealousy in the atmosphere.

Cheatneutral offsets your cheating by funding someone else to be faithful and not cheat. This neutralises the pain and unhappy emotion and leaves you with a clear conscience.

Q) Can I offset all my cheating?

First you should look at ways of reducing your cheating. Once you've done this you can use Cheatneutral to offset the remaining, unavoidable cheating.

Gar Lipow, a long time environmental activist and journalist with a strong technical background has spent years immersed in the subject of efficiency and renewable energy. He has written extensively on the economics of solving the global warming, and why pricing externalities (though important) cannot be the main driver of such solutions.

His on-line reference book compiling information on technology available today, “No Hair Shirt Solutions to Global Warming”, is available at http://www.nohairshirts.com.

His articles on the economics and politics of solving the climate crisis have been published in Z magazine and a number of small journals.

Or the busYou can learn a lot on a long bus ride and not just from the book of poems you bring! And it is a visible personal/political action- people will ask and hear you say why you made this choice. Lots of discussion, dialogue... (but bring your own food as they only stop at fast food places).

Define "have to""have to" as in "have to go pee"

    or

"have to" as in "have to get the latest xbox"

    ??

Easterbunny,You don't 'have to' except for basic physiological functions such as eating, drinking, peeing, crapping. Anything outside of that (supposing a tropical environment) is in the same realm as 'have to get the latest Xbox'.
Makes for a great vegetable, doesn't it?

    We're all Monkeys

The problem isn't cheating its long term relationships....completely unnatural in my view.
We are more akin to monkeys in the zoo cage ... get a little here, get a little there.
    That's all we need.
    Then piss at the visitors.

Cheat NeutralIts a bit cheaky.. but it does raise the point that paying 10 pounds to offset a ton of carbon isn't really enough.
Cheat Neutral has some benifit. Ofsetting has some benifit.
