Brings back memories 3

I was working downtown when all this went down -- smelled a little tear gas, got escorted out of my building by a gauntlet of fully armored riot police. Looking back, I wish I'd had a better sense of the significance at the time.

68 is not now. There is a movement to recreate 68 at the Dem convention in Denver.  I hope it is not successful.  If some feel that this is the only way that they can be heard, we are in deeper doo-doo than I thought.

Victory In SeattleI was a first year law student when the WTO and demonstration came to Seattle.  As I said at the time, if there were one demonstration I could have gone to in my life, it would have been that one.  Unfortunately, I couldn't leave school around final exams.
