Bill Richardson endorses Barack Obama for president 3

Sen. Barack Obama has been endorsed for president by New Mexico governor and former presidential racer Bill Richardson. Among other things, said Richardson, Obama "will make the historic and vital investments into renewable energy, to help create clean energy jobs and fight global warming."

    Renewable and clean energy?  Like coal and nuclear, which he supports?  He might not be as bad as Clinton or McCain, but let's not get delusional here.

    Please keep in mindthat roughly half of Illinois' electricity is generated by nuclear power plants and the state sits on an 1/8 of the coal reserves in the country.  Obama was elected to represent the people of Illinois.  
    At times it can (undoubtedly) be a challenge to reconcile the best interest of the nation and that of your constituents.  I think Senator Obama has risen to this challenge admirably.
    When elected president, I am confident that he will make bold moves to combat global warming and lead our nation to an energy independent future.

    I just read that the Clintonians have been calling Richardson a "Judas" for betraying her.
    Hmmm...and at one point HRC labeled Obama as "Messianic" ...
