"major economies process"That is a term that I had not seen before, which came up in the White House organ's account of why Al Gore is wrong to criticize the US:

Speaking of parallel worlds............................. where climate change gets "bolixed."
The grotesque hoarding of wealth by millions of people, while billions of people in the family of humanity go hungry, appears to be the most gigantic inequity in the world today.
For a fortunate few people with obscene riches to conspicuously consume while millions of unfortunate children go without adequate food to eat is unconscionable.
Inequity is sad enough; grotesque inequity will one day be seen as intolerable, I suppose.
    Sincerely,
    Steve

Looking on the bright sideThe EU have demonstrated that someone can demonstrate leadership. The Australians have demonstrated that democracy can deliver big changes. And the UN are doing a reasonable job of encouraging the whole progress. We'll probably get there some day..
