Flava Flav, that rapper from Public Enemy who wears the big clock around his neck, this week opened his first fried chicken joint in Clinton, Iowa. And more are on the way! You scoff, but Mr. Flav doesn’t just date ladies on VH1’s “Flavor of Love” — the man has a culinary degree and promised to work the fryer on occasion. “You’re gonna catch me in here flourin’ up my chicken,” he vows in a video.

In November, the 51-year-old rapper announced he was opening a line of flavored vodkas to include bubblegum and sweet tea as well as a fried chicken operation.
