Waxman-Markey graphicMissouri Sen. Kit Bond (R) is circulating this incomprehensible graphic that he says illustrates the “bureaucratic nightmare” of the Waxman-Markey climate bill that the House passed last month.

Bond devoted the majority of his opening statement at Tuesday’s Senate hearing on climate policy griping that the bill is just too long for people to understand. “The American people and my Missouri constituents deserve to know why it takes 1,427 pages to address energy issues,” he said.  He noted that the combined drafts of the bill would stack up to more than 15 inches.
